Stichting SOSDogs Nederland is looking for a dog population manager who is an expert in planning and implementing dog neuter and return programmes and is an experienced veterinarian skilled in keyhole spaying.
You will be working in Didam in the Netherlands and abroad.

Hours per week - 40 hours
Working hours - variable/flexible

Salary indication - € 2.800,- gross per month

Description
You are a qualified veterinarian with several years’ experience who has planned, organised and managed humane surplus dog population control campaigns in less developed countries with substantial free-roaming dog populations on behalf of one or more animal welfare charities.

In addition to experience in dog population management you must be skilled in key-hole spaying and early-age neutering able to perform a minimum of 20 spays per day.

Education and qualifications
University graduate in veterinary science
Diploma in Information Technology
Diploma in English language if English is not your mother tongue
ICAM certificate in Dog and Cat Population Management
Global Alliance for Rabies Control Animal Handling and Rabies Healthcare certificate is an advantage
Certificate in Management and Leadership an advantage
Basic NGO Security Management Training Certificate is an advantage

Further details of working conditions
You must be willing to travel at short notice and to work abroad for up to 3 weeks per month. When abroad accommodation, meals and travel costs will be provided.

Smoking is not permitted nearby animals or colleagues.
